This simple through girder bridge crosses the Yahara River in Madison, parallel to Winnebago Street.
The southern of four through girder bridges across the Yahara River, this bridge consists of a single span set onto concrete abutments. Like the southern trail bridge, this span was built in 1904.
It was converted to trail usage at some point several years ago. Today, it continues to be a trail bridge.
Overall, the bridge appears to remain in great condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be accessed from the trail it carries.
